Nick do you think its way to powerful for the track ? or with the Ohlins your not having any control ability issues ?

yes i've heard about their packages but their intercoolers take a long time to cool as they heat soak a lot due to their size i guess, i'm not sure but this is what I have heard.

I have the CTR IC, they work great, very noticeable difference, eventually.. 10 to 15 min on track time if that you do start to lose power. I think there is more than IC that get hot. That is why it has been said to get the cup front rad.
I also have the Ohlins R&T dfv kit on order, hope I like them as much Nick does.

CTR coolers still need another 4 weeks to be shipped
Its been a long time since a posted here. There has been some changes that has to be made and i would like your help and inputs.
Regarding coaching I will go with what Jean recommended as a pro coming over to bahrain learning on my car and the track i drive on. Talked to Nigel Greensall as a start but waiting for my car to finish at first and will be starting at the beginning of next track season (september).
What I'm looking for right now is intercoolers, vtg turbos as the left turbo is damaged and inlet pipes.
What intercoolers do are you guys running on the track ? TTurbine any updates on your CTR intercoolers ? I'm still waiting for GTRNick's intercoolers but its taking so long. I have been looking for meth kits to run on intercoolers but are they safe on the track ? have you guys tried meth ?
I still didnt deciede on what vtg turbos to run on the track, Nick what do you think of the 68mm Champion turbos are they great on the track or too much power ? Rickard may I ask what vtg turbos are you running ?

I don't think it's too much for the track, it all depends on how you tune it. With the GIAC controller and two ECUs I have 6 different maps, three with MAF, three without. With a stock block I think 620whp is very stable and you won't encounter engine block fretting problems that I did @ 675whp.
Ohlins kit- mine are custom valved 4 way shocks in front, so what I have is quite different from what others have. You get what you pay for in my opinion. I much prefer the feel and tune of the Ohlins over the Motons on my other car, and beyond that I prefer the Ohlins kit that's on my GT2 over the 10 year old Ohlins FLAG-R kit on my R32 GT-R.

Setting up your 4 way will always make it uniqly different to my 2 way, the 2 way can be upgraded to 3 or 4 way at any time.

Finally I have decided to go with Ohlins suspension 2 way that is built specifically for the 997 GT2.
I'm planning to run Hoosiers R6 and Pirelli slicks in competitions on 18" wheels. My vendor recommends for these tires I should go with either of the two spring rates:
Fr 800 Rr 1085
Or
Fr 914 Rr 1200
They usually recommend 571/1028 spring rates for MPSC that they have run on a different gt2 for track use.
What are your thoughts regarding what spring rates I should go with ? And what other parts should I change with changing my coil overs ? Camber plates/tops ?
Thanks
