I have had issues with Suncoast for ever. They either like you or they don't. If they don't like you, you feel it. My solution was easy, I have never ran with them again. I have run TT with NASA for 3 or 4 years now and have never looked back. It is a shame, because PCA is about much more than DE's...

(Sorry for those who dislike HPDE 4/ TT w/ NASA, I think it is great)

Jje997.2rs

I want to check out some NASA stuff.

I wanted to help, be involved, and try to grow PCA Suncoast DE but it is so inbread with the wrong people in charge I don't have the energy. You cant even talk to the current CTI, ask a wuestion or heaven forbid make a suggestion.

There are so many other groups to run with anyway and have fun with.

Better to be track poor than rich and miserable.

Another vote for NASA TT. NASA FL now has a new leader/owner so hopefully things will get better. Mark McKay TT director is doing an awesome job and has got the program going in the right direction.

Randy,

Your car would enter TTU, and that class is dominated by old GT3 Cups and highly modified Vettes, all of them on slicks.

So, add weight or reduce power and enter TTS, popular class with NASA-TT in Florida.

The 3.8 RS is a TTS car stock. Barely, but it is. I think I was at 402 whp and 3400 lbs w/ my fat *** in the car. Add back .15 modification and you are right at the 8.7 TTS cutoff..

Mdrums and Izzone, come on down to NASA. Almost everyone if not everyone in TT/ 4 is very capable and more importantly SAFE. One of the best things we do is have a download meeting after every session. If anything unsafe happens on track, people voice them and that driver is put on notice. It's easy to control people's behavior when you have to face your peers right afterwards. If you don't go to the download, you don't go out on track. It's that easy...

I don't want to be an instructor, at least not now and won't do it for them.
If you want best return for your money - run with a private club/organization that handles track events as a business for profit.
