yes, i believe that! i don't remember most of the night before, but i woke up in my mate's bed with a girl who had been drinking as well, and was an hour late for work.... i had to leave work and go home to bed. never again.
it's not very strong percentage-wise, but it must be the herbs in it.
mixing it with redbull like all these young folk do, is even worse...

Believe it.
We hit Jagermeister hard at the Skihut in Rotterdam the night before, the next day the only bar we could find near our hotel in germany was a full blown jagermeister bar complete with the jagermeister girls and the moose mascotte..

Eddie, sorry to hear about the problems with the 48. Oh well, guess that means at Winterfest is my only shot (or Chin in March/April).

To be honest, I'm wondering if even Winterfest is worth doing as I'm not super solo qualified.

Maybe I should just focus on drinking in S. Florida and bail on running DE's. Plenty of good tracks up here with the BS going on down there...

Lots of good tracks down here just some groups are a little iffy. If you come to Winterfest you can run with me in the non Super Duper secret handshake group.

As a side note are you coming to the Chris Harris dinner that Chin is putting on @ RA Nov 26th

PBOC winterfest is worth running. I did not run super solo last year and had a blast.

I heard there were several incidents last year during the races... I assume they are scrutinizing participants more this year because of that. Or it could be, as other's have said, pure politics.. which is also alive and well within the west coast clubs.
The racing aspect of 48 Hours and participants has NOTHING to do with the local Porsche Club. It is controlled 100% by PCA Club Racing. Local PCA is the host and provide volunteers for the event. PCA puts on the race. It is a great event. Even better if you are racing. One thing to remember, this is a RACE EVENT. Do not fool yourself. Yes there are times for DE sessions (one run group several times during the day). This is why they only want qualified DE candidates are accepted (the criteria is BS though clearly from this thread) and this is run by the local PCA club. But IF there are issues in race group, guess where time will be cut to insure the full times for the race groups. Even more critical this year as PCA is supposed to start a Points Series of which this would most likely be the first event.
