I think on Hoosiers you should be closer to the 2:20 mark on a nice day...

I don't have the internal fortitude to run 2:18's

On a serious note, how much faster/ lap are R6's vs. the CUP's at Sebring?
1 sec?
2 sec?
3 sec?

Trakcar has 2:22's on RA-1's I think. R6's have to be 2 seconds faster / lap at Sebring than RA-1's

I would say 2-3 seconds faster. 2:21 is doable with ra-1

I agree, 2/3 secs faster then MPSC and 1/2 secs faster then RA1's.

1/2 sec faster on Hoosiers than RA1 oh you of little faith. Wait until you try the Purple Crack Randy may never be the same after driving on Hoosiers @ RA.

It is possible, and it has been done in the higher competition level seen at the SCCA Solo Nationals.

Trakcar,

Toyo has contingency too. They pay cash money, just place Toyo sticker and voila !!!.

I'm building the Cayman for TTS, slow but fun, hopefully a 2:26-2:28 car at Sebring.

Modifications are free is TT-S, TT-U, TT-R, just comply with the power/weight ratio limit and done deal.

My Fiat goes straight to TT-U where I have no competition (no prizes either), and I get to run against the Viper ACR-X (the race version of the monster fast Viper ACR), 996 and 997 GT3 Cup, F430 Challenge and F458 Challenge, all these cars several dozen seconds faster than the Fiat, so no luck there.

Cayman is not competitive in TTS, but it is the slowest class where I can run it without having to get a Math Degree to calculate points, so even being a back marker, I'm in for quality track time.

trakcar..man.... I was just thinking about trying TTS..with my car i could try to add a little hp as my car dyno's 330-350 (never had one) or take a little weight off...so far 224's on kuhmos..just started running these so will try to hit 222's before considering TTS... hoosiers should give me 1 sec...

win or lose, sounds like a blast..my buddy eric in that silver boxster in front of nj-gt video has done well and is haggling me to come out to play....

A proper 996 GT3 in TTS would be deadly.

Toyo pays contingency only in the classes where Toyo is the spec tire like American Iron. That may also all change in 2012 when contingency rules are updated.

Locally a well prepped and driven 6GT3 could do well. Nationaly it would have a hard time against the top cars.

A cayman in TTS will be a non starter unless it is either boosted or motor swapped.

i was a little drunk by hole ten and pulled up to the two bears humping......cracked me up

To me it seems like they are always cutting the course, I live on the left of hole 4
