The GT2 bar will certainly help (you have to try it to fix the issue)- I have no idea if it will be too much as I have no idea about the front bar on that car versus the stock gt3 front bar - most likely want to use the gt3 front bar as well but may as well try it.
What is your rear camber?
- given your front is 'only' -1, I would get your rear close to the front unless you can increase the front - no point having the rear more glued with higher rear camber if the front can't turn
Lower your front psi to 31 hot - it will help the front grip more - I've run the front PSS tires on the track at 31 hot - they are fine.
Finally, if you drive on the track, you need more than -1 front camber - get a set of RSS Lower Control arms (they come with shims) and get your front camber to around -2.3 (this will work for a combo street / track setup)
Your car will be transformed once you can get it to turn properly.

An update, I went with 2010 997.2 GT3 front and rear bars. GT3 front lower arms with shims to get more front camber. We went with following setup:-
Front bar set one from softest.
Rear bar set too softest
Front 7mm spacers
Rear 5mm spacers
9mm of shims used on each lower control arm widening front track a further 18mm
Front camber -1.8degrees
Front castor +8.30
Front toe 0.00 (neutral)
Rear camber -1.75degrees
Rear toe +0.25 total
Car handles much more neutral, grips better and is a sheer joy and it slides very progressively, all round a great improvement.
Tyres wise I am running MPSS in 235/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear, car is a 997.1 C2S on Sport Design wheels which I believe are 8" wide front and 11" wide rear?
Would it be ok to run Michelin CUPS in 245/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear along with increasing front camber to approx -2.1degrees?
What are your thoughts?

Michelin Cups in N-Spec suck...go with 245/305 Pirelli Trofeo but yes you most likely will need more front camber...around -2.5 and rare around -2 all dependent of course on your track and driving also usually the front bar is softer than the rear.

Just spent the weekend at Road America with the GT2 rear bar installed. Running in the middle position pretty much eliminated the frustrating understeer which I had last time. Much more fun and enjoyable now.
