Without knowing what spring rates you already have on the car, it's hard to know exactly what effect a different bar will have. The springs provide some of the roll stiffness.

True. Based on OPs comments Assumed stock springs.

The car is running the stock PASM if that makes sense, no changes to springs or dampers.

Yes on the GT3 they are.

On 997.2 GT3, it got the upgraded thicker (25.5mm) rear bar from the GT2. This was to help dial out understeer.

Not sure if the front bar changed. But in general if your buying bars then buy the latest ones which are the 2010 onwards 997.2 GT3 bars.

You need:-
997.343.701.94 is the front 997.2 2010 GT3 bar
997.343.792.00 are the front D-bar bushes for the front bar.

997.333.701.96 is the rear 997.2 2010 GT3 bar (same as GT2 bar)
997.333.792.94 are the rear D-bar bushes for the rear bar.

I thought the front bar on the .2 was also changed from the .1, but I am not 100% certain of that.

Another route is to go with the GMG bars ...

you will need the appropriate brackets and you will need to lubricate the associated rubber bushings (perferably with a silicon lub)

After having run this bar a few times now, I'm contemplating going to back to the stock bar. Personally I think there is too much over steer now.

Make sure you have it full soft. My shop inadvertently set it at full stiff initially and the car was a handful. On full soft with GT3 front bar on one less than full stiff car was very neutral. I ran this se up on 2006 C2S and 2007 GT3.

What tires do you use and what are your hot rear temps? - the florida gang made me a convert to running Hoosiers at 30Hot - might make a difference.

I run the front bar in the middle (1 stiffer than delivered)

I also have reduced the car's rake from the factory 25mm to 15mm and lowered the car
- factory is 108/133, i'm at 90/105

I had a top racer mention to me about lowering the rear to increase grip - there is also an extremely fast mancation member who advises the same

Also, what is your rear camber?

+1. With this bar, a narrow body will have a touch more oversteer than a RS. DD95 could add a hair more rear camber.

The bar is setup properly. Everything is where it should be.

Camber is 3.5/2.5 respectively on hoosiers. Moving to NT01 as soon as last set of hoosiers is done. Will realign at that time.

The car is very snappy.
