Nice vid. Which AIM logger and display is that you've got on the dash there? I'm assuming you're using a Smartycam going by the overlay graphics, does the logger/display use the same OBDII ECU bridge as the Smartycam?
I ask because I have a Smartycam but no logger or display yet. Was going to wait for the Solo DL to come out but that looks much more useful (and cooler) with the shift lights and all.

I left the Boys yesterday and headed South while they went North. Awesome 4 days on 2 completely different tracks. Auotbahn is like a really big AutoX and RA is a Flat Out jam on the brakes cross your fingers it stops and then do it all over again. I wasn't sure if it was worth a 2900 mile trip for 2 tracks but after doing both it was worth it. They tried to talk me into continuing the journey but I don't think my liver would have survived
I want to really give a shout out to Nord Stern PCA for putting on a great event @ RA. They keep the groups small by limiting registrations, there were only 29 cars in my group on a 4 mile track so traffic was a very minor issue. 4 sessions a day for almost 2 hours of track time.

For those who dont know 85Gold, an awesome track friend who rarely lets loose at the bar. We fixed that
He really is my hero, retired driving a 996 GT3 as a retirement hobby

I was a bit slower at figuring out Road America than Reter.....a demi god
Here is a video of a few of my laps......I screwed up a corner in every session.....
The first session of the two days I drove into the caresol and saw pieces of a 996 GT3 scattered everywhewre. The rest of teh trip I overslowed there and the kink......lost time but left with a car that could be shiny one day again
The car in front of me is a guy from Texas.....one of Stujelly friends.....on Hoosier
Me Im sponsored by Toyo

Arrived at Mosport, beautiful weather 73F clear blue skies
Grass must hold onto the winter cold up here, looks like driving through Ireland
Nobody at the track, dumped trailer and unloaded cars......
We were left to ourselves to get the alcohol promille just right on our own.....eh
Looking forward to meeting some of the canadians to direct us through 10 corners of walls
Will be there in the morning, not so bright....not so early

So awesome, living the dream. I love reading this- living vicariously!
The track lap times and comments ("Move Over", "Bully" Haha!) written on the cars is so cool. Life is so short and full of BS, it is great to turn the f*ck loose and have this kind of fun.
Hopefully many are inspired by this thread.
PS- yes come out west and drink with Lar, I have a low alcohol tolerance and am and early-to-bed person. Someone needs to handicap him before he gets too darn fast! lol...we are going to have a mini-mancation this weekend. need to take some pics...
