Tired, I try to be coherend
The track is mean and fun. Murder on brakes, full brakes and downshifting when you can not see apex, let alone track out.

I don't over drive too much and am smooth-ish typically, but our last session was about as much as I was willing to risk, probably a bit more. I got pretty squirrely in the kink after the long carousel as I was still taking it in 4th. John told me to take it in 5th. For me this was sloppy bacause I pushed a bit too hard for what knowledge I had of the track. Walls everywhere and the rain and bad wrecks did not help inspire confidence.

I would not have got tone under a 2:31 without John leading the way most of the weekend. He was the fastest RS.
I have more coming where all 8 or so RS are in front of me within a few laps. Damn our cars look cool and sound cool in between the narrow walls and overhanging tree's.

My best lap was the last lap of the day with John all over my ***. We had some different approaches in slow corners and were still learning from each other on the track. We can go faster still, but don't try this at home kids..

Most challenching track I have been to this side if the Ring.
If this was my home track, bad things would happen.

The video looks crappy because both my rear rims are bent. Curbs are nuts here.

Mosport tomorrow, but that is faster with the walls even closer, so no worries.
More to come.

I ask because I have a Smartycam but no logger or display yet. Was going to wait for the Solo DL to come out but that looks much more useful (and cooler) with the shift lights and all.

Whoa. Mosport tomorrow? That's like an 12-hour drive from Elkhart at trailering speeds! Where does sleep fit in? Or are you guys going to pull in to the paddock just in time for the driver's meeting?

Be safe, and take it easy when lapping tomorrow guys. I'm sure you already know how we're all so capable of doing stupid sh!+ from lack of sleep. It'd be nice to see this mancation completed with everyone in one piece more or less. That and I want to see videos of running at WGI

Awesome driving fellas! Considering the tracks are new to you, thats some very commited and fast driving...

Pete, you must be running NOS in your car... Nads Of Steel that is!

Ps. I think you should graffiti 'NOS equiped' somewhere on the car also...

Only thing that's saving them is that the mosport event is actually tomorrow. So I'm sure they will sleep all day today from whenever they make it in

Be very careful at Mosport!!! Gents, these are great videos!! Super good driving by Jmachul ("is this due to being your instructor in three different DE events :-)") I'm in for next year's Mancation III.

Peter,

Hope to see you tomorrow at Mosport.
NOt 100% sure if I can make it.
I may be there with the gt3 or with an Allroad and my son.
If we have the Allroad, I will drive you around the track to the different lookout points.

Paul
