Here's a challenge to those who have ordered: Who will be first to post pics?

God, I love manufacturing!

Why polish them? What purpose does it serve? Seems like an expensive finish operation for a tool that will be banged up and kicked around during its life.

I realize you chose sand casting because there is very little NRE $$$. But... could you make a lighter part if you hydro formed it from sheet steel? Lots more NRE $$$ for the tooling, but.... obviously a much, much cheaper piece part cost.

Cool product! Wish you the best of success with it.

It strengthens Young's modulus of elasticity and contributes to vector orientation...

Wrong!

BLING!

I like mechanical jewelry.

Haha!

John, stands showed up at the house 15 minutes ago. Wife called to know if it was ok to pay the $65 UPS charge (brokerage, tax, ?). I'll post pics here tonight and will e-mail you re packaging etc.

My preferred colour would be red BTW but anything would do. A nice bright colour would make them more visible in the paddock and would reduce the risk of a car driving over them.

I wanted to mention as well that IMGT3, the distributor of the stands, has rendered world-class quality communication and customer service regarding the status of my order. While there are some very well known "tuner" businesses I would likely never do business with again, I would jump at the opportunity to give repeat business to IMGT3.

My unsolicited, unpaid, public testimonial
