I've been looking at a lot of jack stands lately because I need to jack up all 4 corners of my GTS to remove my wheels and change pads and wheels for the track. These Jack Point stands would be ideal and seem to be one of the best inventions for garage tools in a long time.

If anyone is selling a used set for a great deal please let me know...I don't care how many scratches are on them. I'm tapped right now and can't afford a new set of these...let me know...thanks!

Careful - before this gets moved to WTB area

With that said, what are the odds of two used sets being available?

These do look good though!

911rox is correct, it's firewood stacked up in a rack behind the window.

I used my Jackpoint Jackstands again recently to bleed brakes and it was great - once everything was up in the air, it took me longer to clean the wheels than do the bleeding!

With low profile caps which is recommended for gt 3 You get about 1 foot clearance. Check your pm for other details.

I recently bought a pair of these. They are great. I've missed a track day in August because I needed new rear pads, and I spent half a day trying to get the rear up on jack stands and finally gave up. I've done it before using the advice here but even then, it took me several hours. With these jackstands, I got the rear up in 5 minutes and it took me an hour to do both rear pads. I almost didn't know what to do with the rest of the day (I spent it playing soccer in the driveway with my youngest son). It would take me an hour to drive to the dealer or independent and back, so time wise, it's a push to do it myself versus just the drive time to someplace.

It also saves me from bleeding the brakes with the car on the jack. I know it's not smart and I'm not proud of it, but I did it. Now, I don't have to.

They are expensive, but with the amount of time and money they will save me, they will pay for themselves in no time (I came really close to taking my car to the independent for rear pads before these arrived, so they may have already paid for themselves).
