Just seems the Canadian dealers are a bit harder to deal with based on some threads.

Has anyone used JB weld in addition to pinning?

Pinned and a thin bead of JB weld as cheap insurance.

WTF- Porsche settlement on coolant pipe failures on Cayennes. Why the hell won't they step up to GT3 issues?

They can shift the blame to track use which isn't covered under warranty for the GT3 issue.

Can't so much do that on the Cayenne, they fail on the street in regular use..also sub-par plastic pipes on the Cayenne

No catastrophe here -- luckily. But another data point.

Was down at Laguna a couple week's ago (first time, loved the track!). Second day low water warning fired first thing in the morning. Had smelled coolant but assessed probably a bad cap. Topped off and fine all day, until end of very last session where low water warning fired again.

Decided to skip driving Sonoma following weekend for this and other reasons (bent a wheel on T6 so down to one set, 101db sound limit, and just plain 'ol super busy @ work).

Just had car inspected today for upcoming track event and culprit is coolant fitting backing out of engine.

I'm a 2011 GT3RS (997.2), just clicked over to 20k miles.

Interesting, weren't there supposed to be longer fittings now?

Anyway, do you know which fitting? Any chance for a picture?
