Can’t imagine the ask on this white GT2 based on what All Things Porsche asks for their cars and what others on the market are asking.
Carrara White is one of my favorite colors for the 997 GT2 along with probably Speed Yellow, but I like all the available colors on these cars. Well probably not so much Nordic Gold or Ruby Red.
Sad to lose a GT2 of any color because there are so few.

Interesting. 000 had 218 shipped to USA for 08-09. Could it be that many have been shipped to other markets and/or not actively registered?

Possible it could only be a count of ‘08s. Will ask for the VINs again. I do think many were exported and never registered here to begin with. A number totaled. Quite a large number apparently never making it to the resale market. Interesting how few are or have in the Google-able past been actively traded or otherwise findable. If you run all the ‘08 VINs through Google, it looks like only 84 have actual hits (other than generic VIN check websites). There may be some errors here as the process needed human intervention to decide legit / VIN check hits. Its been 14 model years, and amazing to see such a low rate of hits against the 200 or so original VINs. I think that for whatever reason(s) it may be, we are looking at a staggeringly low number of US Spec GT2s in actual circulation...much lower than what most people think:
Best thing to do when us members are ready to sell our cars, is to list them, wait for Grand Prix or another douchbag dealer to call us with their buy it now price, then adjust our price accordingly and still sell to a private party.

For whatever reason, my own GT2 didn't make the list. It's WP0AD29988S796194 in case you'd like to add it, and it is a US spec car that I rescued from Canada in 2019 (but was originally sold in Colorado).
There is a way I can conceive of that these cars drop off the list, and it has to do with the way they are classified by your individual state. When I went to register mine, my own state could not categorize it as a 911 GT2 as they didn't have that option in their system whatsoever. Therefore, my registration shows the car as a Porsche 911 only, and so they would have no way to determine that it is actually a GT2 by their own systems. If enough other states also had that limitation, you could see why it might become harder to query. I know of at least 3 other 997.1 GT2s registered in my state, so that could account for 4 of the cars that aren't showing up anymore. I love this thread!
*EDIT* My own GT2 was on the list, I just didn't see it properly at the time of my original reply.

I’m convinced that the seller of this one has no real motivation to sell. Will just sell if they just get a ridiculous offer. Has been for sale for over 6 months with nothing at $330k and raised price $40k to $370k. I’m pretty sure this car belongs to the owner of the dealer and he just sold his black .1 RS on BAT after it sat for 2-3 years in their inventory priced way over market. I guess if you don’t drive your cars and you own a dealer, why not list it for sale and maybe someone makes an offer you can’t refuse.
