serious buyer; normally would not consider accident car, however.

3 questions -
- pictures of accident/ records of accident repair work /documented? (pending all checks out..) "Severe right front damage reported"
- would you take trade of a 997 gt3
- would you let me swap out those standard seats (oem for gt3 as well) for my buckets gt2(currently in my gt3), if we worked out a deal.

If yes to all 3- ping me.

Thanks guys, unfortunately we don't have any documentation on the accident. The "severe right damage" was to the wheel and scuffing on the hood and fender that didn't need to be replaced but painted. We put a paint meter on the car and it came out to 3.99 and 4.23 depths all around the car so it was a good job. There was no structural damage as far as frame was concerned. The rim took the brunt of the collision.. A 15 to 20 mph accident.

One of the best driver's cars ever.
When you come home you feel like you really accomplished something. None of the current offerings give you that satisfaction as they do half the work for you!

A DME scan would probably also be helpful.

I've been watching this car...intrigued as we just lost our Meteor Grey 997 TT in an accident.

Part of me doesn't want to worry about accident history (if repaired well) or mileage as I'm going to put 7-10k miles a year on it anyhow and drive the snot out of it.

But that DME report has me confused. 36mph average doesn't necessarily scream track car to me, but it has more type 1's than my 04 GT3 which has almost the same mileage as this car and spends a good portion of it's time at the track. That's not even to mention the Type 2's and 3's.

Does it have an aftermarket flash with raised rev limit? I guess that would help explain those counts but still seems like an overwhelming amount of time spent in the upper RPM range.

Provide receipts, or your explanation is simply speculation...

996 DME has 2 overrev ranges, 997 DME has 6.
