Default Boxster spyder

Check this thing out at porscheusa.com

From briefly scanning the info standard items:
176 lbs lighter than a standard boxster
no AC, no radio, no mechanized roof, no cup holders, no door storage compartments
lightest 19 inch wheels Porsche makes
RS door pulls
sport bucket seats
aluminum doors
red belts
special aero
20 mm lower sports suspension
LSD
320 hp
black exhaust
$61200 (only $3200 more than the S)

I'm probably missing a few other items as I read through the info rather quickly. I've considered replacing my S2000 with a boxster for some time. I've been waiting for something like this from Porsche and the price seems more than reasonable. I just hope you can add the radio back in.

That Spyder is hot as hell. All the right specs. And if for some reason my RS allocation doesn't come through I would buy one of these in a freakin heartbeat.

The boxster/cayman at PSDS on the autocross were awesome to drive. With the superb specs of this car, you may well spank a 911 on a road course. For sure a non-s version.

GO PORSCHE!

OMG, a step in the right direction indeed!!!

2,800lbs, LSD, 320HP (20-30 more with software?) 7,200RPM...all for $60k. This totally makes up for the Pana.

2,735 if you opt for PCCB, install the RS Li-Ion battery and upgrade to 18" wheels to run better tires.

Awesome! I plan to start shopping for a new p-car in a few months and was gunning for a 993 RS clone or 996 GT3 but this thing just threw a wrench in my plans.

You can configure the car on the European sites, not USA. This car is the best value going in terms of Porsches.
