I ordered one this morning- July allocation. White/black, mostly stripped but did add the AC. I got the pccb's with my 997 tt but not on the spyder. When I got my turbo, I wanted the GT3 but it was a little too rough for our bad roads. Now at half the price, my spyder will be weekend/fair weather driver. With options kept to a minimum, this is a great value and should be a lot of fun to drive.

Hi Pete! Wow, fantastic write-up (as usual) and high praise indeed!! Yep, decided to pass on the new RS allocation (going to keep the 997.1 GT3RS (and the old 993)) and get this car instead (as my DD). Car should hit the port (in San Diego) in about a week, so it should be here very soon. Can't wait! I will let you know when it is here. Best, Pete

Thanks, Pete...you're not making the wait any easier! Mine was built two weeks ago...I abandoned my original plan to get a GT3 (for now).
