Excuse my lack of technical terms but here are my initial impressions on my 997.1. The car has headers, side deletes and the oe center muffler.
Overall, driveability (especially low rpm/partial throttle) is much more linear and smooth. My car was gutless/would bog down low (under 4k rpm) and was "peaky" under partial throttle/during low load acceleration. To say the car would "buck" would be an exaggeration but it almost had that feeling at times. That is gone, I feel like I can modulate partial throttle inputs as much or as little as I want and acceleration is just butter smooth. As a result, the car feels stronger from a stop (ie in traffic etc.).
Mid-range throttle response was "laggy" before. I always felt like I needed to drop a gear and floor it to get anywhere. Now, even in scenarios where it would have bogged in the past, the car just wants to get up and go (within reason).
The mid-range flat spot is gone. Previously, my car felt like it hit a wall before the power really came on at ~5500rpm, now it wakes up much sooner and pulls hard to redline. The first time I got into it from ~4k rpm to ~6500 rpm I immediately noticed an increase in mid-range torque.
Overall the car just seems to be happier and snappier. I'm excited to put more miles on it, but the difference was noticeable immediately.

Its s good tune. I'm running with my long tube headers, 200 HJS and gets side muffs and it's a night and day difference from before when I was just running the exhaust. Same sentiments as Pputowski, bogged off the lights low throttle and was not as linear as it could have been. Also didn't pull like a freight train. The tune addressed all those shortcomings.
Now that tune with a stock exhaust setup, I don't think you're going to get a wow factor.

You will want headers with the tune. No need for the tune without headers and the car in stock form is tuned perfectly. Also no need for headers without the tune.

I went from Sharkwerks center bypass to ....Evoms headers, Evoms tune, side muffler delete, Sharwerks center bypass. I think this combo is fantastic ....more hp, more torque, more noise and NO drone.
This setup was a recommendation from a member here. I think BMWTYE (?)

Installed a Fabspeed center bypass. Per the guys at Fabspeed, this was one of their original designs so I’m not sure how it compares to their current version. I had the SW bypass on my last .1 and thought that was a bit louder, higher pitched, and raspier than this one, which still has a great sound. If you’re not getting on it it’s not very loud at all, which is actually a nice change bc neighbors and whatnot.
