The seller said he will consider offers over $160,000. He’s clearly not terribly interested in his car - has the car listed as a Type 991. Doesn’t even have any interior or professional exterior photos. Sounds like nothing more than an opportunist. The worst kind of Porsche owner and same person who buys allocation of the GT cars just to flip while those of us who would buy to drive and enjoy get locked out.

What do you guys think of a 2006 6 speed with 58k miles
Its white with sand interior, clean title, accident free, no mods
I'm thinking of getting back into a 997

Is there a list of places anyone would recommend posting a modified 997 Turbo for sale. BAT is usually pristine stock cars and wasn't sure about Autotrader. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Modified cars don't always do poorly on BaT, depending on the mods of course. You will definitely want to be prepared to handle the peanut gallery, though: they will demand a DME report and paint readings, and be in the comments answering every inane tire-kicking question they throw at you.
These days listing it for a realistic price on Autotrader/CarGurus/etc. with some decent photos will probably get it sold quickly. The people actively in the market will be refreshing those sites multiple times a day, after all.

Not bad? Got my 06 6 speed with 50k miles for 47.5K last month... Guards Red, full leather, bose, sport chrono. Needed 3k worth of work which we factored into price.
