This listing, a few on the Rennlist classifieds, and some of the recent BaT/PCar market results, give me hope that 997 prices are beginning to stabilize/come back down. I think supply will increase as we enter the spring and people start taking cars out of winter storage( as well as thinking about trading up into 991/992's). Plus, there's only so many buyers with more money than sense who are going to drop $73K on a 997.1S at Ryan Freidman, speed yellow or not.

I passed on too many as I wanted all the options such as PSE, SS, blah blah and ended up with some of the options I wanted of which 1 owner was in the top 3
And yes, I paid premium but she is super clean and there isn’t one rusted bolt on her.
Driving around with my kids with the Top down and the PSE on is an amazing experience

I spent too much time searching and then one day Doug suggested that I just pull the trigger and that we only live once. Couple of days later I bought an 09 with 25k which will be passed down to my kids one day.

I not actively hunting to buy, just monitoring the market, but I’m also coming to this realization. You only live once, get into one and love it. I’m even giving more consideration to 997.1s (no offense to .1 owners) and will maybe have to cross that bridge (IMS/Bore scoring) if and when I get to it. But I have a few months to iron out my search parameters.

No affiliation, but here is a white over black 9k mile 2012 C2S, 6 speed. It isn’t cheap at $79k, but it is nicely spec’d with sport exhaust, lsd, sport chrono and was $108k new.
