I like it - but the rear bumper looks like it's been repainted and not a high quality match to original.

I caught this too. I see it often, but I usually think it’s my eyes playing trick on me or the difference between surface textures (metal vs plastic).

To the seller’s credit at least he isn’t trying to flip it for $5-10K over what he paid for it.

 

Did folks see this 997.1 that sold this week on Cars and Bids? $50k for what looks like a nicely optioned car w/ an engine replaced by Porsche under warranty. I was a bit surprised by the price it fetched. Well into the $50k range once you factor in transport and auction fees.

Yeah, I saw this one. About 2K miles or so on the new motor IIRC.

Edit: 15K miles. I guess I don’t remember all that well.

 

For someone looking to get into a 997.2, 3 pedal car this could be worth taking a look. Add a few basic mods and this could be nice.

Very little information listed in that ad, but that's an amazing price for a C4S assuming everything checks out and what options it has.



I'd expect this to go in the 75K range or higher.
