Someone would need to take a hard look at this car. Accident, but the weird issue is the tons of auto auction activity noted on Autocheck on this car from 2014 through 2016 and now it is sitting in a Carmax.

Great 997s end up at CarMax for a reason. There is no reason a solid, clean 997.2 GTS would end up at a series of auctions or wind up at a Carmax unless there was a reason. On vacation now or I would pull up a little more info.

It was leased from 2011 to 2014. Then lingered in wholesale auction circuit from 2014 to 2016. And then it was leased again from 2016 to 2020... but Autocheck says it is one-owner? I guess technically Porsche Financial Services owned it the whole time? But that's usually shows up as two owners in records.

12 PDK GTS Cab w/ Hard top. Saw it in the metal today. 32k miles. Super clean. $80k. Won't find aggressive pricing at this shop but they don't sell garbage either.

Wow, talk about a rare bird. I'm a coupe guy, but a GTS 4WD Cab is super rare, and in that color! They'll get their price quick.

I've never seen the optional hardtop on a 997. I wonder if they squeak much? It is a stunning car. Even comes with an umbrella. That's an ****-retentive owner!

Well, after reading a few hundred posts here and lots of looking, tonight I’m unsubscribing from this post. Added a manual 997.2 C2 Cab to the garage today. 60k miles, clean DME, minor wear items, and a few things to sort out, but she’s mine. Paid the dealer’s asking price of 42K, but also got them to sort some of the maintenance items out in exchange for the strong asking price. From what I’ve found, it was pretty regularly serviced at Jim Ellis in Atlanta, got traded in to them, then they sent it to Manheim and it ended right back here in Atlanta. So no, it’s not perfect, but I’m not going to be afraid to drive it like it should be driven.

Wow congrats! Beautiful color. Hope to see this at future Peachstate PCA events.

I'd be surprised if this is in stock and available for this price but I found this in my random searching:
