I wonder what the story is on how it ended up at a Ford dealer in Charlotte NC 4 days after it was CPO'd in south Florida. I have seen Porsche dealers buy Porsches from other dealers as the other dealer may not be in touch with the market and have it priced low enough that the Porsche dealer can flip it, but I've never seen it go the other way.

For sale at Mercedes of Daytona:

Also interesting to note is it's $40k on the Ford and Lincoln sites, but $42.8k on the Mercedes, Chrysler, and Nissan sites.

With not much going on Sunday so I filled out the $250 coupon on the Felix Sabates site and suprise, suprise....a salesman called me. He said the store has had the car for a month and it was brought to the Hendrick Porsche dealership for servicing and it came back with an estimate of $6000 to fix whatever was wrong. They decided not to get it serviced there. I asked the obvious question about what was wrong. Saleman had no clue. Asked for a copy of the Hendrick estimate and he said he was going to talk to the used car manager about getting a copy. I asked if I can get a photo of the car with the top up and he said no problem. Not yet received. Will update if and when I hear from them again.

Could have been behind on maintenance and would eat into the profits too much to CPO

Clutch? Could be a wear part. I wonder if the sequence and dates are a bit off on the Carfax. I bet the Pors he dealer took it in on trade, was going to CPO, opened it up, found something and sent it to auction.

No photos of convertible top.......wonder if that was intentional.

I was really thinking about finally pulling the trigger. Guess I’m just going to keep driving my wife’s cayenne on Friday’s to somewhat fulfill my dream of owning a 997

Hey guys, I have a 2005 997.1 C2S convertible Tiptronic with 141k miles for sale. Asking $22.5. Car has fresh brakes and tires. One owner California car. Family friend daily drove it and had all services done at Porsche. Car is pretty damn clean. Let me know if anyone is interested. I already had $20k wholesale offers so I know my asking price is more than fair. It’s silver on black with nav and Bose. Carfax has an accident.
