All right. I give. What's the proper way to maintain/store? I don't know what mine looks like with the top up (j/k).

Gratuitous pic for the Ruby Red metallic crowd.

Nice car. I have never found it difficult to care for convertible tops. The only one I have replaced was on a 964 I hot rodded and put a 993 top on it because it looked better.

Here is what I use for convertible top care. You can also get this product at Suncoast Porsche. Easy to use and your top will stay new looming and well conditioned.

FYI - I had a very low mileage 88 Cab that I stored and drove only with the top down.....when I went to sell it the top had wrinkles I could not get out and (in that case) the stitching of the rear window was brittle as I had not "hydrated"" it over time....in my opinion, to keep the top in best condition....always keep it up when not in use

For me it's cleaning the top twice a year with the Raggtopp product that Doug's referenced, and sealing it once a year. Certainly not a PITA at all - and a small price to pay for being able to have the open-air experience.

I use a Scotch heavy-duty lint roller regularly to keep dirt out between washings.

Default Porsche 911 Pre-Owned OEM Wheels Rims (set of 4 19"Lobster Claw)

Anyone here have a good amount of knowledge on some Porsche 997 lobster claw wheels? i picked some up locally.. now i think they may be replicas. theyre a staggered set and alll match in terms of product numbers et.. width ect. fronts weigh 22.4 pounds. et is on front of wheel aswell as the width. only suspicious thing about them is behind the wheels where they should say ronal or BBS. they say more like LLS with the three words connecting. looks like a good attempt to try and copy the bbs stamp. looks very intentional. i hope its just another make for these rims. ill see if i can upload pictures here without this getting flagged. any info would be appreciated. i need answers.

Cleaning and treating the top with the products referred to by other is important.

Equally important is putting the top up when not in use so the creases relax and the fabric returns to normal.

Some people are ok with the creases. But it ages the car quickly in my eyes.

One additional point - it is very wise to avoid putting the top down if it is not fully dry.

Interesting carfax.
6/15/20 - Sold at auction
6/16/20 - Serviced at "The Collection" in south Florida (same dealer that performed all the service on the carfax).
6/16/20 - Offered for sale as Porsche Approved CPO in south Florida.
6/20/20 - Offered for sale at a Ford dealer in Charlotte NC

I wonder what the story is on how it ended up at a Ford dealer in Charlotte NC 4 days after it was CPO'd in south Florida. I have seen Porsche dealers buy Porsches from other dealers as the other dealer may not be in touch with the market and have it priced low enough that the Porsche dealer can flip it, but I've never seen it go the other way.

I've been tracking Macans and I saw the same dealership certify some and then sell them at the auction. It seems the Miami market is a little soft.

This particular car might have sold for $33.2 plus fees. Happy negotiating.

Maybe both dealerships owned by Felix and after CPO P dealer realized it had something that wouldn't allow CPO status?
