All of their cars have water damage. Its their specialty.
Thanks for the info. How were you able to determine this? Carfax has been the only resource I've used to understand the history of the car. If there are other methods please do share. Thanks!

I am not familiar with that particular dealer, but generally there are companies that specialize on buying out certain types of insurance losses, fixing them up and selling them. Very openly and transparently to the buyer.
If I planned to drive a car a lot myself so that I didn't care about my own resale speed (not so much price) I would seriously consider that.
Modern cars have so much electronic garbage inside that a clean report from the OBD2 port is almost impossible to achieve while anything is broken.
On the other hand, some types of flood damage might lead to greater risk of corrosion. Question is, is it worse than Massachusetts winter?

I wish I could find that car for 30, but I've been looking around for a while. That's problem with looking at book-value on these cars, I don't think they're in line with market.
Do a search for cheapest S/4S on cargurus.com nationally. Cheapest 997.1 2s I see is one with 95k miles for $30k in CA, followed by an '07 for 36.9k w/ 85k miles in Illinois.
Ha! That 07 S is mine for sale. I have a 125,000 mile transferrable warranty on the car, hence the slight price bump. A great car with full records, new Porsche front brakes, replaced the coolant tank, well taken care of, 3M front bra, etc.

Depends on the options on the car. The more desirable options will add a premium.
I paid more than that '07 you mentioned for my '06 C4S. With 80k miles on it. But it is LOADED (exclusive paint and leather, Carrera Sport wheels, X51, PCCB, Sport Chrono, Bose, Bilsteins, TechArt wheel, clear bra), and it is in excellent mechanical condition with a full maintenance history. Well worth the extra cost imo.
