Funny, I had the same impression w/ my 991.1 test drive and ended up purchasing a dealer CPO'd 2009 997.2 C4S Cab MT w/ natural leather option at the end of last year. I wasn't looking for leather, but now that i have it i consider it highly desirable. Per pfbz's comment, price for the FL car seems to be a significant premium for what appears to be a nice car. I also live in the NE and use my car as a DD and consider its AWD and heated seats to be important options. The FL car seems to be missing the heated seat option? Heated steering wheel would also be nice. Wrt to other cabs, maybe not what ur looking for, but I posted a link to a non-CPO, 1-owner, $126k msrp, 44k miles, 2009 997.2 C4S MT makassar cab for $52k on this thread a couple days ago. Finally, perhaps more cabs will show up as spring approaches?
It won't be a DD (I have a very short ride to a very crowded train station), but I would definitely prefer to have the heated seats!
The makassar isn't to my taste, but that is a very nice deal. Ideally, I'd find something that wasn't black or silver. I'm not in a rush by I worry that the warmer weather will bring more cars...and higher prices. Is that a rational fear!?

I got pretty excited about this 4s, then realized it wasn't a 2009.

Beautiful!! Saw it for sale online - interesting color combos are my thing and most 911s are black/silver/grey over black or sand beige. Not many tan over terracotta cars out there with the ability to hit 60 mph in less than 3 seconds

[First Post]. Excuse my ignorance. How were you able to identify this as a 2008? I was looking at an alleged 2009 at a local dealer - it was suspiciously cheap and something seemed off. I suspected it was not a 997.2 but could not figure out how to identify it as such after I left the dealership. If I was back there in person, I would look for the "DFI" label on the engine. I should add that the vehicle I looked at was manual.

My only thought is that you really have to want a 997.2 instead of a 991.1, because at $71K, the price is well within the 991 asking price range...
If you do want the 997, it looks like a nice low mileage car with a decent build and some nice leather upgrades, but a huge premium for those very low miles. No performance options either.

Not really that big of deals, but it can't fetch ninja macho price without that.

I thought the infotainment package came with Bose. Now I know!
I've moved on from this one (thanks to some help here!). Close, but no cigar.
