I wasn't looking for leather, but now that i have it i consider it highly desirable. Per pfbz's comment, price for the FL car seems to be a significant premium for what appears to be a nice car. I also live in the NE and use my car as a DD and consider its AWD and heated seats to be important options. The FL car seems to be missing the heated seat option? Heated steering wheel would also be nice. Wrt to other cabs, maybe not what ur looking for, but I posted a link to a non-CPO, 1-owner, $126k msrp, 44k miles, 2009 997.2 C4S MT makassar cab for $52k on this thread a couple days ago. Finally, perhaps more cabs will show up as spring approaches?
Glad it's not just me on the 991.1 impression!

It won't be a DD (I have a very short ride to a very crowded train station), but I would definitely prefer to have the heated seats!

The makassar isn't to my taste, but that is a very nice deal. Ideally, I'd find something that wasn't black or silver. I'm not in a rush by I worry that the warmer weather will bring more cars...and higher prices. Is that a rational fear!?

Prices go up in the spring and cars sell fast, nice clean ones. 997.2 inventory seems to be low now, and really low for a C4S.

What will happen with all these Tiptronic cars? I've yet to hear from anyone who actually wants to buy them (except Turbos)...
[First Post]. Excuse my ignorance. How were you able to identify this as a 2008? I was looking at an alleged 2009 at a local dealer - it was suspiciously cheap and something seemed off. I suspected it was not a 997.2 but could not figure out how to identify it as such after I left the dealership. If I was back there in person, I would look for the "DFI" label on the engine. I should add that the vehicle I looked at was manual.

Beautiful!! Saw it for sale online - interesting color combos are my thing and most 911s are black/silver/grey over black or sand beige. Not many tan over terracotta cars out there with the ability to hit 60 mph in less than 3 seconds

997.1 (2005-2008) cars have grey plastic around the radio. The tail lights are LED with a chiseled look to them.

If you do want the 997, it looks like a nice low mileage car with a decent build and some nice leather upgrades, but a huge premium for those very low miles. No performance options either.
That car is missing heated seats and Bose.

Not really that big of deals, but it can't fetch ninja macho price without that.

and it has manual seats, too. I know some people prefer them, but it blows my mind that a $120k car can have manual seats.

I thought the infotainment package came with Bose. Now I know!

I've moved on from this one (thanks to some help here!). Close, but no cigar.

Hmmm, careful. I might be wrong. It looks like the photos show "Bose" badges on the door speakers. Might be a buildsheet oddity, maybe 2012 only?

95k miles and 2 accidents - no frame damage or salvage title but can't do Tiptronic
