Easy for me to say, I'm back down in the mid lats after an extended stay in the PNW and it is awfully good to have been able to shed a layer (or two), gained more sunlight and more energy from the sun at the 38th parallel, and more importantly, be able to exercise the Tart in the "dead of winter" in this easy peasy climate and get a mental health day on the ledger in the process!
Yup, tonight it the longest night of the year. They're only gonna get shorter after that.

I had an amazing drive in terrible conditions flooded roads and on the way back I had a wet Labrador, Christmas presents, three overnight bags and xmas food, a matress topper and three people and it was stellar, what a fabulous drive !

I'll admit to having mixed feelings. But it felt great following the new TTS that replaced the GTS up the coast north of San Francisco recently. Looking forward to more outings to verify consistency in that feeling 😀.

Reset service reminder. If you have access to a PIWIS 2 it's under the instrument cluster module -> service (or maintenance?) tab, always takes me a while to find it.

Replaced clutch switch that was going bad. Took five min. Symptoms were occasional Depress Clutch with the clutch depressed while trying to start. One bolt (T10) very limited space so a little bit and socket set up works well to get it loosened and tightened and from there you can use your hands. Brown wire is foreword, yellow aft. Car is a 2009 and the old part was from 2011 so it had been replaced at least once before. 93k miles. It was like a $40 part from Suncoast.

Spark plugs and coil packs. Number 4 sucks!! And for you guys who do it without taking off the mufflers…you have my respect.

Yep, just did the wife's last week with the stock mufflers. Exhaust on and wheels.on - it's a bit fiddly, but doable.

Added to that starter, AOS, AOS hoses, and chain tensioners.

My car with the long tube Fabspeed headers is a little easier.

Taking the muffler off was actually pretty easy. At one point I considered taking off the muffler mounting hardware, but I dealt with it. Having the right combination of extensions, etc helps a lot. I really need a 4-5 in extension. And my spark plug socket is great at removing spark plugs, completely sucks at letting go of the new spark plug after you torque it down.
