I had the Mobridge M2 Pro system installed today. Wow! What a great mod! I now have bluetooth telephone connectivity that looks like a factory installed option. I also have streaming bluetooth audio for iTunes, Pandora, etc. The shop that did the installation replaced the power outlet in the passenger's side footwell with a USB connector and a mini-jack that connect directly to the Mobridge unit so I can charge my phone or connect an alternate audio source. I also had them hard wire my BEL radar detector, so I'm ready to go now!

Here's a photo of the custom connector:

This is cool. How does it sound and how do you "switch" to it. CD quality or ?

Could you give a ballpark on the Mobridge install?

TIA

It sounds very good - I would say that it sounds as good as a CD. To switch to it, you simply push the "CD" button just like you would to access the CD changer. One push activates the single CD slot in the dash and another push activates the Mobridge unit. It's very easy. It displays the song information on the screen, just as if you were playing a CD.

The unit and installation were about $750. My installer also charged me a little bit more to hard wire my radar detector. The Mobridge unit has an on/off switch that is installed in the driver's side footwell, out of the way but accessible. This allows the system to be turned off and return to normal operation when the car is in the shop for service.

Swapped out stock headlight washer nozzles from BumperPlugs.com. Black on black.

Much cleaner finished look in my opinion.

I detailed my 997 TT today. Full cabriolet top cleaning and protection. Clay bar. Random orbital polish followed by wax. Deep clean of brake calipers and wheels. It took me roughly 6 hours to detail the car.

After all this, I decided to take my wife out to dinner in my freshly cleaned car. We drove with the top down, and it was a beautiful night. We had a nice dinner. It rained while we were in the restaurant. Lots of rain. Dang it! Oh well... it looked good for a few hours...

No vibration, so stable and so sure footed. Oil temp almost always at 90 with occasional 100 when she went ballistic. Thats in c deg of course.
