Nice car, congrats...click on "User CP" on the bar at the top of the page and click "Edit Signature" on the menu that appears on the left. Your signature will appear at the bottom of every post you make.

I have an LN Engineering dicsount code if anyone was thinking of picking something up. Not sure what the rules are for posting so IM me if you could use 10-OFF-50
I just changed my oil today, too. Third time doing it on the 997, and I always enjoy the experience!

Magnetic Plug and crush washer

Napa filter goes with spin-on adaptor

Actually I only have 61.5k miles. Need to change that. I'm trying to keep all of these that I do, but I must have thrown out the last one...

first time with other than Mobil One

Also first time using an oil additive. It specifies 50ml/liter and I'm starting off light, just using one 300ml can for this interval

Replaced front brake pads, changed oil, balanced wheels, flushed brakes with new brake fluid. Powder coated all 4 907.2 wheels and repaired wheel rash on wheel driver side rear and wheel ding on back wheel passenger side.

Took off the gundo which i love and installed fabspeed muffler bypass pipes with car chemistry baffles. Those should help with the drone and with the loss of low end torque. I know these baffles help on my track motorcycle. Should theoretically work on the 997 as well. Will try them tomorrow.

"washed" with Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer. Does a great job in between wet washes

Clear corners STAT! Best $40-45 you'll ever spend.

Great car! The lobsters really work with that color.
You can really kick up your detail spray with Finish Kare 425 or Duragloss Aquawax. Either one of these will give stellar luster and depth while leaving behind a bit of protection. And at the same price as the Megs Ultimate spray.

Thanks ofr the tip on Finish Kare 425 and Duragloss Aquawax. I'll look them up. I can't complain about Meguiar's UQD, or any of Meguiar's products for that matter.

When I first got the car I was looking to replace th lobsters for some OZ 14s or something similar. Now they have grown on me and I actually like the way they look a lot

Used Menzerna 4000 from front doors back, there were some fine lines here and there. Followed with Menzerna PL.

Drove it like it should be driven. Was actually yesterday but since we didn't finish until 1210am this morning it was technically today.

I did a Monte Carlo style road rally - as always the rally was all around a bunch of really scenic roads a bit north of Los Angeles. If you've never done a rally you should look around your local area.

Oh, and my navigator and I took first place in our class. Yay.

Thank you for the purchase! Without a doubt one of our most popular items. Share some photos when you pop them in

Sweet! You'll be amazed at what this one little cheap swap can do to improve your car's looks. Only mod my wife let me do to her car!
