Reason: Spelling
Replaced my glove compartment latch handle (scratched!) with a minty fresh one. There is a good guide from Maccarbon ( https://www.macarbon.com/install_gui...structions.pdf) which shows you what to do. I was able to replace my latch handle without completely removing the glove box itself. I just undid most of the tiny flocked torx screws inside the glove compartment which allowed me access to the 2 torx bolts which secure the handle. With some bending of plastic I could remove and reinstall the new one. Job done, interior now 1 step closer to mint!

I'll pull the route map once I get to my other computer - the general outline is thus: South from Seattle to Packwood; over white pass to Yakima; south east via Prosser and across the Columbia River to Pendleton; Pendleton to La Grande on hwy 84 & to Enterprise via hwy 82; up hwy 3 from Enterprise to Lewiston, Idaho; hwy 12 over Lolo Pass to Missoula, Montana; hwy 200 out of Missoula to link back up with hwy 12 into my hometown of Helena, MT. Return loop via 1-90 back to Seattle.
We hated the interstate but got lucky with lack of traffic & lack of highway patrol and were able to cruise comfortably at 90mph all the way home.

Wevo. I see they aren't recommending them for street use. I wish Pelican had mentioned that, but they are taking them back. I would be surprised if there's much difference between any of the poly mounts.
Well this blows. I have 2 brand new RSS semi mounts setting on my shelf to install some day. My stock mounts are only 3 years old but I thought at some point I'd replace them for "drivability" as Jake put it. Guess I'll hold off or possibly sell them {at a loss}.
As usual Jake saves the day.
