Drove the stink out of it about 200 miles to the lake. The last hr was empty two lane roads, smooth and curvy - had a blast. Performed beautifully and minus some bozos in a giant truck spraying my bumper/hood with gravel, it was an awesome time.

Default DIY coilover install

Installed partially front coilovers. Took me and my friend 3 hours for the fronts but due to pizza, beer, tools we needed to buy and watch youtube or read threads here on how to remove struts. We will continue tomorrow as we no longer have natural light when we were done by 730pm.

Tomorrow, we tackle the rears and based on what I read, prying the plastic cover on the sub woofer and take out a screw before taking out the carpet. Thereafter, remove sub woofer and loosen bracket to gain access on one of the bolts of the strut.

What color is your car? Looks like it could be meteor gray. For your reference, I've attached two pictures of my meteor -09 C4S with HRE P40's. These were gloss black. Not my first color choice but came across this set at a great price so I compromised.

I took it to York PA for a Euro show with my 9 year old son. in the last month I added the carbon fiber dive plains, tinted the windows 35%, did muffler deletes and swapped out the front lip to a CUP lip.

I wasnt able to take a photo of the partially installed coilovers last night as we no longer have natural light. This is how it looks 8 turns from factory setting (coilovers front and still eibachs on rear)

Hope we could finish the rears today.
