When mudding, a damp micro fiber cloth is a great sanding tool. No dust and a very controlled smooth finish. Just put the mud on in thin layers to avoid excess.

Your car deserves a mural!!!

Just picked up an 06 C2S a couple weeks ago. Changed the 11 yr old cabin filter, top off the PS fluid and found out my radiator cap is the older, leaky version.

Just finished installing red seatbelts and painted black steering wheel inserts and airbag surround.

If anyone lives in the Southeast, you know the weather has been lousy. It has been raining most every weekend over the past month. Today, I got to drop the top finally! 70 degrees and sunny. Drove to church and had the top down on my way home. Sweet.

Sounds like you got the weather we did a few days ago here in Texas. It's been a wacky winter. Hope it's over, and gets back to warm until next November...T

Replaced the drive belt... Pretty tight fit in there.

Also found a little nest in the intake valley.. WTF. Looks like a mouse or something.

Rodneyb... love the painted steering wheel parts. Been thinking of doing mine in seal gray (body color). What is involved in removing the airbag surround? I've had my steering wheel assembly off before, does the plastic surround just unsnap or is it more involved?

Dan.

Bought the rarely-driven, but much-loved C4S from a great Rennlister in May 2016 with 14,000 miles on it. In the 19 months I've owned it, I have put 9,000 miles on it. Just hit the 24,000 mile mark and still love this car.

New Millers CRX75-90NT+ 2007 997.1 with 67kmiles, it's like a new box, 1st and 2nd transformed. Old oil was dirty and thick. Mega chuffed with the improvement even at 5deg C!

Put lighting on my 4 post Hoist and installed Fabspeed Headers.
Now have full Fabspeed Exhaust System with Cat Bypass.
GT3 Plenum and Throttle Body and ECU tune.
While I was at it did Rennline Semi Solid engine mounts and Function First Transmission Inserts (yellow)
