Default Replaced Battery with Bosch Platinum AGM

Replaced my stock battery with this one:
https://www.pepboys.com/product/details/838845/00177
Fit perfect. After, of course, the first Bosch one Pep Boys sold me was longer than the factory battery and I dropped a nut under the battery tray when I tried to insert a nut and bolt in the outer unthreaded hole. Had to remove the try and fish it out with a magnet. After two hours of fiddling/ fishing/ cursing, etc., I just returned it and bought the Bosch Platinum AGM which fit perfect and took all of 5 minutes to install.

Edit....the Check raised brake light message is back and neither 3rd brake lights work........the plot thickens. Guess I might have to buy the wiring harness after all.
Yes, I don't think this will work with the non turbo harness. I purchased the turbo decklid harness and it was all plug and play. I've opted for a fixed wing on mine and was able to program this with the durametric pro...no issues.

I'll update pics eventually, but I've also added a black "Carrera" badge and dual exhaust tips.

Good luck!

Probably tastes better than the original fluid that the bottle came with.

Once the new fluid came through, it looked almost identical. As I started filling up empty bottles I was worried I was going to take a nice swig of motul.

This project is done! Got the factory wiring harness and 991 style lettering installed today. No nasty messages on the dash.

I was going to send out my ole Champions to get refinished in a gunmetal but decided to mount them to make sure I like them on this car and make sure the sensors work.

I do like them and am almost inclined to keep them silver but a gunmetal is easier to keep clean. I prefer them to my faux centerlocks.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I like the wheels in the upper picture a lot more than the other wheels. My preference is factory or race inspired wheels like BBS.

But then again, wheels are a really personal choice. I love my Lobsters but hate the Turbo wheels....go figure.

I hear you. I for one am not a fan of lobster claws, I think they are alright but nothing special. I guess its a good thing that we all have different tastes.

Some minor stuff, just to freshen things up a bit.

Some depo tails. Nice product with the exception of the reverse lights which are useless

Fresh **** and boot
