What did you think of the sound of the 991.2? Turbo lag? I thought the turbo engine sounded fine at the event I went to last night (Boxster not a Carrera), but I was in front and not behind the car and it was being rev'd indoors FWIW...T

Mine had PSE and it sounded more quiet than the 991.1 with PSE. Inside the cabin, it sounded fine, a lot of people probably prefer it louder but as I get older, louder isn't always better. There's a tiny big of lag on comfort (regular mode). Once you twist the **** to S (sport) or S+, the lag goes away. Hardly noticeable to me. The 20 second turbo boost is a nice feature. Launch control works great, hardly any wheels spin, it just grips, I can see why it's 3.5 seconds to 60 mph, it just grips and pulls. I let my brother and brother in laws test drive it and most said it was too fast for the road. One said, he stepped on it, looked down and it was over 100 mph. He said, "it's the fastest way to go to jail." Interior isn't much different than the 991.1. I don't have ventilated seats in my 981, thought it was a cool feature. The blind spot indicator was also a nice feature, I think it should come standard on all cars. Overall, I am very impressed with the new 991.1, it's soft and comfortable GT car when you want it to be and it's fast and sporty with a twist of a ****.

+1 on the Miami blue. Here's one I saw at Braman Porsche in Palm Beach a couple of weeks ago. The wheels are absolutely gorgeous too!

Well, maybe not today... but had the H&R 7mm/15mm spacers added over the weekend. Love the new footprint on the NB. Now time to save up some $$ for new shoes. HRE? AG? BBS or OZ? Gunmetal or similar... brake dust has my fun-meter rolling in the red. Grrr

Saw a 4S with the same wheels at an autocross event I was invited too. Those are nice wheels but is going to be a pain to wash.

I'd have to go black wheels and max legal tint all around, but that's just me! Ooh, wonder if deviated stitching in Miami Blue is an option?!?
This pic best captures the color of one that I saw at PoP.

I have had trouble with my rotors sticking after a wash. Bought this little diddy over the weekend and it was better this am but still stuck a bit. Anyone with anymore help on this? When I change rotors they will be slotted and NOT drilled.

What exactly do you mean by rotors sticking?

Mine does that all the time after a wash. Rust builds up & cause the pads to stick to the rotors. Just take it for a short drive or move the car back & forth to free up all the waters.

Ahh, so you mean the surface rust that forms on the rotors after they get wet. I thought it was something serious.

Just go for a spin around the block and it will remove the rotor rust. Drilled, slotted or smooth it makes no difference as they will all rust out.

Congrats on being more OCD about your car than I am!

This is my favorite drying method. A quick jaunt up and down the interstate. I want to get a little sticker that says, "I'm not speeding, I'm drying my car." Then, back to the driveway to finish, remove water spots, wax, etc. One of these days, I'd like to get one of those water conditioner attachments for the hose to see if that'll minimize water spotting...T

I tell my wife I'm going to blow dry my car after washing... then I go rip it up/down frontage road else the rotors look like hell all rusted.

I have a water conditioner in my house and it makes a huge difference with water spotting.

They froze so hard I have skid marks on my concrete floor from the last time. I think I might need a definition of OCD???
