My wife and I drove south on PCH Yesterday. Blasted The Eagles in memory of Glenn Frey.
It was a really nice day, and heading home the sunset was perfect.

Spent today fixing the mistakes of my body shop guy, excellent stone chip repair & DPR, but turns out to be not so up to speed on paint correction.

Only really noticed the swirl & buffer trials left behind when I was inspecting the car today after a full clay and IPA wipe down.

So out came the PC and my enthusiasm got the better of me, so removed the roof rails, broke a few clips along the way & then nearly had a heart attack when I found out that a small plastic clip costs $6! Anyway will replace all 10 of them as I can't see removing the rails ever again.

Wow. What a difference. Yes nothing is cheap on these cars.

removed the headlight washer nozzles and covered holes with plastic discs (upholstery fasteners?) from local autoparts. don't need/want chrome doodads disrupting the simplicity of shape.

Thanks to Onefastviking for the purchase.

Nice work... assume you had to remove seats and all? Not an easy task... I think for a pro they say 4hrs,,, diy can be double and triple that on some things. Congrats and looks great.

Bought it (technically two days ago). My first pcar after 10+ years of semi-seriously looking and 30+ of wanting.

2009 C2S w/ H&R springs, techart type III wing, turbo II style wheels, sports chrono, and a pile of other nice to have options (heated seats, nav, etc).

Agreed, but even one of the tech guys turned round & said "what!"

I was expecting about $2, as I'm sure the plastic clips have a manufacturing cost of about 10 cents.

Note to self, stop pulling things apart
