What a great day! Bright sunshine and it hit 16 degrees Celcius (61 F)!
Took the C4S out for a long drive, exploring the country roads in my county, and let the engine sing in 3rd and 4th! Sure puts a smile on your face!

Changed the oil and filter last night. I need to get it up to temp today and get a reading. My prior experiences were that refilling with 8 qts left it a little low.

Finally got around to installing my X51 intake, throttle body and Maxspeed plenum that have been sitting in the garage for the last few weeks.
Love the new intake sound

I uncovered the car, released the parking break, and rolled it back a quarter rotation on the wheels, fearful of flat spots. I have no business keeping the car, but it's a 911 and psychologically I cannot get over the hump of seriously attempting to sell the car.

Been getting screwed lately. (screws in the rear tires!)

So today I plugged the left rear one. Although I have tire insurance it's more hassle than just plugging it myself. Just for fun I started my stopwatch to see how long it would take to do.

Givens:

In my garage, with a floor jack, and a pneumatic 1/2 in drive to remove the wheel bolts (as I wanted to remove the wheel to better position it for plugging).

Including the time to get the key out of the trunk, along with my two wheel guides, it took me 11 minutes, 35 seconds. Includes putting 39 psi back in. That's got to be a record for me!

Changed oil and finally installed my sport exhaust. Now I can heel and toe since I can hear the revs!

Next project- change those rear fender decal guards that have yellowed.

Ran some errands, enjoying every minute. At dusk opened her up for exercise and let the car's rambunctious personality out. Even in the mid 30's here in Chicago, there is just so much grip.

Love this car.

Had my mechanic turn off the seat belt chime and change side markers to turn signals.

And had an oil & filter.
