No Dave I got the genuine Porsche rear light control unit & had it coded for LED rear lights & a fixed wing. All Genuine parts mostly secondhand & painted to match thanks for your comment. The Techart spoiler was also used but just like new painted in pearl white.

Good for you, sounds like you made out well finding the parts used. Nothing beats the OEM route. Congrats on a nice upgrade!

I turned off my x band on my v1. And I cleaned my MAF which resulted in a very significant smoothing of the engine at idle as well as no lurching/ rich sounding engine at slow speeds.

Quick detailed the car with chemical guys v7 and went out to the grand opening of a new custom home development. The valet parked it right in front. And when I was done for the night and got my car back, I overheard a couple behind me say "I can't believe that's his car." It's the second time I've heard a comment like that while getting the car from the valet. Perhaps I dress a little too casual or I don't have the look of what they think a 911 owner should look like.

Picked up a Harbor freight lift for 628 bucks. First raised my old Mustang and left it on for a few days before lifting the 911. So far i love this lift. Keep saying to myself why didnt i get one earlier..

Put on the new licence plate, programmed the Homlink, lowered the top and installed the windscreen, took my little sister out for a ride for the first time in my "new" 2007 Carmona 997 cab 14K..........the journey begins.......................

What benefits do you see from wheel wax? Do they last?
