What did you do to your 997 today?

SSK provides nice crisp shifts. No discernible increase in effort. I thought stock was a bit sloppy.
The whole thing took about 4h. It's a 1h job if you know what you're doing - like when I went back in to add the bushings that I didn't put on the shifter It's not a difficult job, just a bunch of screws and careful prying.

today: drove my Targa with pleasure.....lots of heads turn as I go by....not for me but for the car....
I get more looks than in my CLS63 LOL!
it's kind of amusing.....anyone else ever get tired of prying eyes?

I bought new shoes for my car, replaced the factory Pirelli (Had vibration and noise issue) with Michelin super sport. What a big difference in the ride quality, handling and grip.

For the one that asked I ordered the steering wheel from Dallas Custom Steering wheels. Ordered it on the plane on the way to SEMA on Sunday and it was at my house(I paid extra for fed ex) by Friday when I got back. It took 15 minutes to swap out and 10 of that was waiting for the required 10 min battery unhook wait. I absolutely love my new steering wheel

My car is at the dealer getting the 40K service but it only has 26K miles. Also getting a full detail to go into storage for the winter...
I hate winter, all my toys are being put away! I should probably move to a warmer climate....

Just picked up from my Indie after a TPMS replacement. Upside is they only had to do three as the fourth was showing 95 hours left.
When I got it home I installed my front plate after getting some trouble from "the man." Went with the US Millworks Tow Hook one. I like the off center look and the fact that it is easy to remove. Maybe too easy? Shined her up...again.

Stef,
Console looks cool.
Can you post a few pics or PM them to me of the console....do you just have to give them the Porsche color code? Even for a PTS color like Turquoise Blue?
What's the cost and who installed?
Thanks in advance!
Tom

I'm pretty sure they do some PTS colors, check with the Eric. Yes, I gave them the color code and they do a core exchange. Price was $579 (www.bumperplugs.com) and I did the install myself. It's relatively easy and there are some great instructions on the forum.
Ok, I'm retarded, I don't know how to rotate the 3rd pic, but you get the idea.

Washed, clay bar, polished with Menzerna, P21S 100% carnuba, dusted interior, cleaned windows (in and out), washed and treated leather GT2 seats, applied Lexol to dash and plastic bits, polished chrome tips, polished headlights. Made Christmas list of Porsche bling and sent it to my better half. She is very good about my fat silver girlfriend.
