I went driving with all of these guys. 997 GT3RS and my 997 Speedster are in the middle of the pack.

101, had a 6pm dinner reservation, so no time to take 1. Car worked great, Escort Redline did its job well too. Drawing a crowd in Carmel-by-the-sea, where it rained, so I got to use the windshield wipers too!

Gorgeous Veterans Day in NorCal today so Wayne Smith and I first attended the local Veterans Day ceremony to pay our due respect to our family members and fellow citizens who sacrificed their lives and served to protect our country (and world).

There was a special 94 year old Battle of the Bulge veteran in attendance as well as some very cool and well loved, vintage military hardware.

And then we took a proper drive through Lucas Valley, around Nicasio Reservoir, through Hicks Valley, up Shoreline to the Bodega Rd., and then back over Chileno Valley.

As Wayne said, it was an excellent day!

81 F on Vets Day? (BTW, much love and respect to our Vets!) Got in early, polished off a few reports and paperwork, did the one important meeting I had, then adios @ 1 P.M.! I busted my hump in my 20's, so I could ditch work early to ride the back roads of north Texas. Twas very windy north and west of DFW, but gorgeous and sunny. Definitely, the world looks better from the driver's seat of a 911 than behind a desk!

I know I'm digging up an old post, but how did your mechanic turn off your seat belt chime?

He used the Durametric Pro. I had read about it here on rennlist or on 6speedonline. He charged me $30. Best $30 I have spent!

I had the sport/sport plus option added to my PDK 997.2 C4S. Amazing. It totally transformed the car. I haven't tried the launch control yet but hopefully today. This is the best mod I have ever made to any car.

Sharkwerks x-pipe vibration resolved with the 2 clamps re-adjusted.
Rear bumper off for internal parts visual inspection and clean-up before a salty New England winter.
Reconnaissance of spark plugs accessibility for next DYI maintenance.

My thoughts exactly, the first time I engaged the Sport+ button! It transformed my 997.2S C2S from a spirited colt to a bucking bronco! Enjoy it, and post some pics...T
