Except for clear side markers and bumperettes delete, it is fully stock.

I have a set of Eibach springs to install to replace the H&R currently on my car. I'm hoping for the same look as yours. The drop is perfect on yours. Very nice

nice eye,
Yes this is a full 997.2 front and rear conversion. Those mirrors are my stock ones as this is a 2005 C2S.

Did you paint your lower rear bumper? Gives the car a GTS look and looks absolutely awesome, especially with your chrome tailpipes which pop against the black.
Yes it’s painted matte black. I love the GTS look and breaks up all the silver. These FVD tips are monsters. So thick and fun to polish every week

A

A new OEM + mod- perfect fitting front lip from Better bodies . Com. Many companies make this but this was very nicely made and will take the abuse since it’s now very low. Just how I like it. The front of these 997.2 bumpers need a bit of GT3ish look

Love the stock look, but mods make it fun. My son had a lot of input on the stripes. All easily reversible (mine is the ruby red cab).

What's involved in removing the bumperettes? Whole new bumper or can they be removed separately and then patching and painting the bumper with a good result? Looks great on your car no matter how you had it done.

Are genuine forged Fuchs also considerably lighter than the Porsche Sport Classics?

There is really nothing to it. It is just removing the bumper cover and then the bumperette plastic caps from it. Use a drill to remove the rivets that secure the bumperettes to the aluminum bumper/beam. You can always bolt these back to the car through the holes left by the rivets if needed.
You then have to deal with the holes in the bumper license plate area by either modifying the bumper and having a body shop patch/paint these or by hiding the holes with a cover plate. I went the easy (cheaper) way and bought a metal cover plate (https://cyphervehicledesign.com/prod...31594283925615), which I just wrapped with a glossy black vinyl piece I got from Amazon for less than $10. Another advantage with going this route is of course being able to easily remove the plate and put the bumperettes back and bring everything back to stock. Not so if you modify the bumper.
I'm very pleased with it. It was a minor change that made a big visual difference.

Thanks ecard. Really appreciate it. Wayne Smith posted some links too (that I could have found had I made the effort) so I've got what I need now except a decision on which way to go with it. Your point on easily being able to restore the bumper to stock is well taken if resale value is a consideration. Had my car on the market a while ago and have to admit to being surprised at how many buyers won't consider anything but a bone stock car. Period. No mods accepted unless easily restored to stock.
