This is funny. When I post an issue for the forums help, I usually include Petes name because its more or less directed to him anyway and yes he'll kindly chime in with the correct answer when he catches it.

So, I'm assuming when you tested it, it read higher than zero with the engine off?

Glad to help!

I just checked mine after seeing this, and with engine off and key turned to right, oil pressure gauge showed .5. Is my sender bad cause it is not at zero? And is there any consequence if it is bad? I mean, the only thing is that you’ll have incorrect pressure readings, right?

Yep, and it will make the gauge always read .5 higher than the actual oil pressure.

Thanks. I just checked again and it was now at zero. Guess there was some residual pressure there that settled down.

Maybe. Just keep an eye on it. I probably wouldn't change it for that little amount. They start reading 1.5-2 high when they really fail.

Looks good! I actually have a similar style steering wheel, no MF buttons that I'm removing and probably going to sell. I like it but it feels too big for me.

Looks fantastic! Was it a difficult install? Do all the buttons work as intended?

So I just picked up this wheel (991.347.803.47.A34) to put in my 2005 997.1 manual/ base with no multifunction features.

I'm looking into the airbags, but there is one for the 997 (2010 - 2012) generation and one for the 991 (2012 - 2016) that look the same on Suncoast Porsche website.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/997G2AIRBAG.html

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/991G1AIRBAG.html

I'm guessing the correct one will be the 991 airbag to go with the wheel but would i need the steering wheel module? Any insight would be great.

90% sure either 997.2 or 991.1 airbag will work, no new module

You will need a 997.2 airbag for this steering wheel. Like this one...
