The 911 was also treated to a full detail, paint correction and ceramic coating just before being put away. It is now parked for the winter and I will be posting a few mod updates soon. Photos with a couple friends (997.1: @Dubber 996.2: @Flat6collective ) right after the paint correction (Photos taken at dubber's place:

Thanks, the base H.I.D. (Bi-Xenon) headlights are the same for 997.1 and 997.2. As long as you don't have the adaptive headlights on your 911 they should work, but make sure you order the bi-xenon model (there are halogen versions available for the .1). Search "997 D2S Headlights" on eBay.

Keep in mind that you will have to swap over the leveling motors, ballasts and HID bulbs from your OE headlights.

Are these the same lights (https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/113490005...=media%3Dmedia)? They are about $300 US less expensive than the ones you posted. All the aftermarket headlights I've seen like these have the caveat that they are not for cars with stock HID lights. But I assume that is why the motors, ballasts, and bulbs need to be swapped. Is it a fairly easy swap? I'm considering doing the same. I have a .2 car without dynamic lights. Thanks in advance.

Absolutely brilliant thread! Great idea and you’re inspiring me to do the same! Sound is absolutely amazing, tasteful mods with perfect stance, gorgeous rims and cool headlights. Thank you for sharing and congratulations on having a perfect looking car.
also, you’re a fellow Canuck so I’m not surprised

I have been following your 997.2 progression. You have done the mods very tastefully.
I have a 2011 Platinum silver base cabriolet, just found a hard top for the winter and midsummer, it gets very hot in Texas. I had the hard top painted Platinum Silver, so it matches.
my question to you is about tires. You’re using the Falkens, but t said that you may change to the Michelin 4S. I’m getting ready to get new tires and I’m on the fence between those two.
My suspension is stock, I use my car as a daily, with an occasional trip to the track.
Love your photos too…

For sure, he has an amazing setup
I have a small update to post for now, I'll do so soon. I'd like to focus on the interior next (steering wheel, seats, adding some leather pieces, etc.), and one day I hope to build a 4.2L or 4.3L motor

Sweet ride! I follow your IG account as well - so clean and timeless.
May I ask the specs of your wheel and tires setup? Offsets etc? They look absolutely spot on.
