Default Yellow Calipers

I finally had the time to paint my calipers yellow, the next step will be changing the seat belts to match. I also ordered a Function First Performance weighted black machined shift **** with yellow gear pattern to tie into the subtle yellow theme, as well as a short throw shifter. I will post an update when everything arrives, onto the photos:

There are photos earlier in the thread, but basically its a "straight pipe" inside. The muffler was cut open and the perforations were covered up.

Nice photos---> Too bad you need a front License Plate - In 35 years living in Seattle I've never had a front License Plate on my Porsche.
They don't seem to care here.

That exhaust system sounds great but I thought I heard some droning?

Thanks! You can't hear drone from outside, droning is a deep bass note that travels through the cabin and typically makes driving at low rpm very annoying (I get a headache from it).

I would love to remove it, I may get a clip on one in the future if I have the front bumper redone. Unfortunately law enforcement really loves front plates around here, well at least they love ticketing for not having any.

Regarding your rear valance - is that painted or wrapped? Hard to tell much in the photos. Is it a satin finish?

Thanks.

It is wrapped, and yes it is satin black.

Fabulous, FABULOUS work. I absolutely love what you've done to your car. Will be picking up my (new to me) 997.2 C2S next week (Arctic Silver) and you've caused me to mentally spend more money than I had already opted-in for...

Normally, I'm fine with with (good) factory wheels and springs. Nope, not anymore. You've completely changed my perspective and I've been involved with cars my entire life.

Great mods and the Platinum Silver is outstanding.

Thank you for letting us tag along vicariously, and for the outstanding photography.

Cheers

I think all of the 911 Carrera even the S models need to be lowered by a few inches, stock heights are a bit too high for my taste. Then add an aftermarket exhaust system especially on the 997.2 and you'll be golden. Rims are purely a personal choice but they have to be at least 19 inch.

It would be interesting to see a complete sequential listing of the modifications that you've made on your 911 - starting from the first one you did. It would also be interesting to know of any mods that you did that you were not completely satisfied with (turned out to not be the right choice; quality was not what you expected etc...)
