Love this thread. Thanks for keeping it updated!
FWIW, I found the PS4S tires disconcerting at the limit on my 997.2 S. They were fine up to 7 or 8 tenths, but beyond that their behavior and feedback disassociate from one another in a way that made me very nervous. I actually sat-out the latter half of a trackday because it wasn't fun anymore. Same car, same track on other Michelins was more fun and far more predictable.

My first set of MPS4S tires were wonderful. However ...
The last set of rears (half worn fronts were not refreshed) installed last May were terrible. Michelin field engineers dropped the ball on helping. Renewing the fronts didn't help. I got frustrated with the car. I reduced my driving.
I've got a drive coming up that mandated I at least inspect the car. So I raised it on my lift. After 8K miles a bubble had appeared on the sidewall of one of the tires. So new tires just went on. The Googled Michelin Customer Support number was called. Within minutes the one tire was paid for in full and the other tire with 27% wear was reduced to 17% and mostly paid for. I have to say I was impressed with Michelin warranty support, once I called the right place 😀
Now to see how these new tires do once the mold release is scrubbed off.
FWIW, the "bad" tires were manufactured first quarter of 2021, in the midst of employee absenteeism. QA may very well have played a factor.
Also, part numbers have changed just recently. The old part was 10365 (which was what these were replaced with). The new part number is 58841. The specs are identical with the exception of tread depth. The old part is 9/32 while the new part is 9.5/32.

I haven't, since I never did a baseline before modifying the car there would be zero point of doing one now. I can tell you that the car pulls much harder without a doubt, especially in the midrange.

TopGear X-Pipe
About a week ago I installed an x-pipe to replace the current center bypass, the purpose was to "clean up/smooth out" the exhaust note. Just like the TopGear headers the build quality is top notch and fitment is perfect. The x-pipe made a massive difference! I cannot believe how much the exhaust note changed, it is much quieter at low rpm and has a more exotic sound (it's more of a melody, and a lot less raspy). I am very pleased with the results and will try to get a video up soon.

@preelude beautiful!
Now that you have had the wheels for a little while, are they easy to keep clean? Do you do anything special to keep them glossy? Do find any light swirl marks from washing or do they have a clear coat?
