Engine looks very dirty underneath, maybe a previous oil leak. Engine bay looks a bit better. Aerokit should help with the final price.

That isn't dirt on the engine. It's the cosmoline protective coating discoloring from heat cycles and high humidity. It a south Florida car.

Tiptronics are so underpriced/undervalaued. I'm happy people don't like them though. It enabled me to get into one of these cars at a very fair price.

I'm familiar with cosmoline and old mil-surp guns but it usually becomes a liquid when warmed up. Cars that have shiny engine cases have the coating removed by cleaning, I take it?

Yes, these often get dry iced for the BAT fashion show.

I've never seen Guards over Natural Brown. Absolutely gorgeous!

Shame too. Down here in Florida I have seen several cars that, post cosmoline removal and a few years in our humidity, the casing looks horrible. I for one am leaving my cosmoline on the car. Yeah it collects dirt and is yucky, but it protects whats under neither.

Now if we were Corvette guys we would be graded on if the proper amount and color of cosmoline was used, and if the correct over spray off it was present. If not our cars would have less value. Good thing we are not Corvette guys.

How the cosmoline ages varies great from car to car since it is hand applied haphazardly at the factory. Weather, temperature and moisture conditions also changes things.

My cosmoline is very dry and slowly but surely flaking off of my car. A friend recently opened up shop doing dry ice cleaning and I'll probably get it blasted off at some point since well over half of it is gone now anyway.

Copy. I was going to clean mine while doing the tranny fluid but got lazy. Sometimes procrastination pays off.

While I generally love the natural brown, the color clashes a bit with the red exterior. The wood trim does not seem to hold up long term as well. I'm sure someone will really like it and be happy.

Guards Red over full FULL Natural Brown leather with wood trim is the spec I've got. It may sound like it clashes but one must really see it in person. I frequently get compliments at the local meets on the combo. Bronze rims help tie it all together.

Lucky. Mine only has the full leather interior.
