0-60 959 = 3.6s
0-60 996T = 3.9s

Top speed 959 = 200mph
Top speed 996T = 191mph

996T is as close to a supercar as you can get without passing it

I would never turn down the opportunity, if ever offered, to drive a 959.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...911-turbo-s-69

First bid $99,600.00, I guess they must really like it.

I understand why people blast the Cosmoline off, and it looks great, but you're then beholden to an underside cleaning routine.

Not that this car is going to get driven by the next owner...

I don't get it. It's amazing corrosion protection, that just due to time and being gross, gets nasty looking. But it still works. I just put in on my new truck. It's really for those who are ignorant to what it is and maybe just think they're cleaning off years of grime, or those who like the look and will keep it non-driven. It does look very good though.

I thought that this would go higher, for sure. What a great spec.

I'm now feeling salty about my 2003 TT purchase price this month.

Beautiful car, if it had sport seats it would be perfect to me for a weekend car with my wife. Strong first bid but it should go higher before it closes.

I expected that one to sell at number starting with an 8, seems like the buyer got an amazing deal. BaT really is hit or miss on sale prices.

Those ugly 997 wheels couldn’t have helped.
