I'd probably take a same-spec 03 or 04 than an S, if only for fear that the PCCB crap out on me and I gotta spend like 20k to replace them

This was a large and difficult expense for me, and I may have got a little caught up in the bidding, but it seems a well maintained high mileage turbo that I wont be afraid to drive.

Wow! Thanks Carlo. I am not selling. I wanted to purchase a 991 turbo S, but couldn’t find what I wanted, then prices skyrocketed. I ended up ordering a new BMW M550ix, just after Covid hit. I would still like to get a 991 or 992 turbo some day.

That M550 is impressive. Quite the acceleration.

Yes, the M550 is a beast! Especially, in launch mode, it has some exceptional power.

This escalated quickly. Love the seat. First time I've heard of a "heated / cooled" seat option for a 996.

Those are aftermarket Recaro seats that's why they have the heated/cool option. The OEM car did not have heated seats. He also swapped out the silver shifter and handbrake for carbon fiber ones. Plus a few other additions!

I was watching this one closely. I love a blue/wood grain Porsche, and I would have been all in on this if not for my recent local find. What a great example. And a nice price for the buyer for such a unique option set, IMO.
