That interior is easily changed and the yellow exterior is currently the hottest of hot sellers so it will probably sell no problem.

I’ve never owned a cab but would like to one day. Something would have to go. But I really like the color combination.
$136K! A special price for a special car.

That was about $40-50k more than I was expecting it to get but if you want a low mile 6spd blue turbo s cab you have to pay to play. It only takes two people that really want it to spike the price. In the future this is going to seem like a bargain.

Wow, that is an impressive result. It is interesting, usually cabs go for less money but occasionally we've seen Turbo S cabs go for big bucks and shatter records.

Back in 2018 this result was mind blowing.

The writing is on the wall. Original cars with the now extinct Mezger will become virtually priceless. And if you think unmolested examples are rare now, just wait

I remember a picture of Hans Mezger sitting in a Pasha interior 930 looking pretty grumpy. It was in a magazine article a couple years before he passed. I wonder if he'd be as grumpy if he knew the engine he was responsible for is still driving new sales price records.

And this one had a Cobb tune, coil overs, and an aftermarket exhaust. Looks like the bidders are becoming more tolerant of tasteful mods that can easily be returned to stock.

Good observation i agree. The wacked body panels and wings and Japanese intercooler stuff is still terminal. But the reversible stuff is now being pretty much ignored.

996T market is definitely at an insane level. My car should hit BAT in the next week or so. I will miss it. I drove it the other day and it really is special.

The whole car market is insane. New Kias sell over sticker. By comparison the 996tt market is quiet.

Hey guys, long time lurker here, but first time poster. So in the spring of 2020, I talked my aging father into shopping for a 996 turbo, and he stumbled onto a lovely 996 turbo S. He enjoyed it for a year and a half, but decided to move on. I volunteered to help him sell it and it's on BaT now. The car is a gem and we've both enjoyed it immensely. If anyone is in the market for a nice 996, it's worth a look.

Very nice, good luck with the auction, though luck will not be needed in this market!
