Yep, I have found 5 different sets for under $1000 in the last few months but they have all been on the east coast.

Those wheels on Bat were listed with 993 part numbers and were said to be really rare. I had never heard of them before but given the price paid they must have been special and not regular 996 hollow wheels.

Don’t see anything special about them. Seller stated they came off a 996 tt, he did very well. Same p/n listed on Porsche web site for $876.

I just looked at the auction and it makes no sense. These aren't even widebody wheels, these are 996.1 NB hollow spokes. Who in their right mind would spend 10-30% of the entire value of their 996 on a set of refurbished wheels? People are nuts. If they were the correct wheels for a 993 it would make a little more sense but still be crazy.

They were the 993 8/10 wheels and went on a 993 C2 if I remember correctly.

The early 996 builds that came with hollow spokes had wheels with 993 part numbers.

Nope, they where 7.5/10 that were options on early 996 NB cars. They did have 993 part numbers but the 7.5 hollow spokes were never available on the 993.

Where's @bdronsick when we need him? He's the resident 996 hype man and nothing gets him more hyped than the 996 hollow spoke turbo twists.

Low mileage, seemingly clean Cab. Not a screaming deal at $70k I think, but it's a dealer, there may be some leeway.

Looks very clean and low km... seems like a good deal and some peace of mind it's from a Porsche dealer.

Are there any screaming deals right now? lol

People are still paying 300+k for 992 GT3s...

Nearby dealer, where I got mine from. They seem to get quite a few nice ones. May stop by and take a look at it.
Service dept was a complete disappointment,

Sorry, “peace of mind” and “Porsche dealer” don’t belong in the same sentence.
Have bought 3 P cars from dealers, don’t think there will be a 4th time.

For an 04 with 29,000 miles thats the best price I've seen in awhile. Can't imagine that will last.
