another white low mileage car in the Bay area. Priced reasonably, but some questionable mods easily reversed. Specifically the wheels.

Vellano wheels LOL. I remember when those wheels were the ****. Everybody wanted that really deep lip in the back.

Because it shows money was spent restoring the paint to a top quality professional finish. Proper paint correct is an asset, adding value, not a detriment.

Given how thin the clear coat is I don't always consider this a plus.

****ing hell, 20 inch. There should be a law against it. I wouldn't touch that car with a ten feet pole. Someone evil enough to put those wheels on, who knows what sort of stuff has done to the rest of the car.

Massively overpriced imo. Mid mileage car with hardcore mods. Not what most buyers at that price point want. i could see that changing hands in the mid $60s, maybe high $60s.

Same here, not to mention it is recommended before adding a ceramic coating. Also before adding PPF so you don't memorialize swirl marks and other paint imperfections that can be corrected out.

Default Fishy

Anyone find this fishy? It states 34k in the ad and the car fax states 55k? The ad says stick and the car sticker says tiptronic? http://links.bringatrailer.com/u/cli...XUVDhywVFzU2tk

The ad says it's a Tip. And someone has already asked about the mileage discrepancy.

It's getting ridiculous. I should sell my 39k mile '03 before the price crashes and just keep the 180k mile '01.
