With 100k miles and lots of mods, my car isn't a fair comp to these super low mile collector cars that are going for big bucks... But they make me feel really good about what I paid for my car.

BaT loves a low mile car. I'm surprised a modded car hit that mark but guess there was a good back and forth bidding war. I wouldn't look at this and conclude "prices are going up," however. The X50 also in Slate that sold a day earlier for $52,600 I was hoping would be a lot higher. Maybe that's just because I have an 04 X50 with similar miles also in Slate.

Nice Turbo on carsandbids.com

https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3BE...11-turbo-coupe

Don't love the grey interior, but very clean for a 50K mile car.

I’m having a weak moment, smitten by a car that would require the Turbo to go.

‘02, 48K, the right mods and maintenance (as most of you know). Don’t make me do this! Probably a 24hr window.

That 2005 Turbo S 6MT on BaT right now is something quite special indeed. I suspect it may get up to even $75-80 before the dust settles.

I thought that the Turbo S on BAT will get to the high 60's - low 70's. Will the grey interior hurt the numbers? The grey does look really nice on the slate grey body.
Very few comparable's out there (this nice) to judge it against. Driven under a 1k per year.
I think it is a beauty.
Buy it and drive it 3-5k per year for the next 5 years and you will most likely recoup your capital costs at the end of the day...IMHO

Lack of sport seats (seat covers are a bit goofy) and a grey interior is a negative, but the car is listed as Atlas Gray. I don't think I've ever seen another 996TT in that color. And with those miles there's no way this will go for anything in the 60s. Will be 70+ for sure. I didn't read through to see about paint or maintenance but would guess 73-75k on the lower end. If it gets really heated it could crack past 80k. You never know with BaT and what cars happen to catch someone's eye where price is not a huge factor.
