My 2001 has the chassis stiffening. It was a late build car (March 2001 if I recall correctly). No glove box though.

This beautiful PTS with relatively "high miles" did pretty well. Plain Jane grey interior again.

I think photos and some of the early bickering in that listing capped it early. Good pictures and that car is worth more. I sold a silver 996TT last October for just shy of that with the same miles.

Someone in the comments had serious beef with the seller.

Mannn, grey interior 43,000 miles car sold for $52K. 996T's are on the major rise. Low mileage cars are going to fetch high 60s, 70K next year.

Grab em now boys.

Can they go up that high? I'm just curious because then if they're in the 60's, then what's the delta between a 996TT and a 997TT?

A 996 just sold for nearly $100k on BaT last week, so yeah, they are going that high. Which I find astounding.

Regarding prices, I made a comment years ago that the prices for 996 and 997 turbos would eventually be about the same. We’re seeing that happen. Decisions will not be because one model is newer but because of features, condition, mileage, and service records. I watched this happen between the 911 SC and the 84-89 Carreras and to a lesser extent, between the 964 and 993. There will be technical reasons why a person prefers a 996TT over a 997TT or vice versa, but it won’t be because one model is newer. Both are 10-20 years old now.

I shopped 996T vs 997T for two months. Clean well optioned 997T's with no stories and sub 40,000 miles floated around $75-$90K.

Clean 996T that were similar floated from $49-$65k. Ryan Friedman has some cars for sale but there are insane pricing at 80-95K for low mileage cars.

Roughly a $20,000 delta over the two (996v997), and I couldn't justify that money for myself so I ended up with a clean 996T and now that values are rising I'm happy the choice I made.

Shameless plug for my 03 X50 Aero that just went online yesterday at BAT. Young kids and <1000 miles per year of ownership have me looking for something we all can enjoy.

Really nice car, watching this one close as mine has 16,000 miles and I'm curious to the market. You have aerokit and X50 though which is definitely desirable.

Markets climbing fast on these cars right now. Hope it does well for you. Lots of time left too, I'm thinking $75k.
